Indianapolis, IN, 10th May 2023, ZEX PR WIRE, Chuck Goodrich, President and CEO of Gaylor Electric, is proud to announce that the company is opening its doors to The Crossing School of Business & Entrepreneurship. The high school satellite campus is located on-site at Gaylor Electric, providing at-risk teenagers with a unique opportunity to fulfill their academic needs while gaining hands-on electrical trade experience.

The Crossing School of Business & Entrepreneurship program is geared towards students struggling in traditional school environments. With a fully equipped classroom of computers and dedicated teaching staff, the program provides a supportive environment for students to thrive. The school also offers a mentorship program and a comfortable space for students to spend quality time together.

Students spend half their day engaged in high-school curriculum and the other half training and learning the electrical trade in the Gaylor Electric fabrication warehouse. Upon graduation, these students leave with an Indiana high school diploma – not a GED – and practical experience in fabrication and production.

Gaylor Electric has been working with The Crossing School of Business & Entrepreneurship since its inception and has already graduated inspired students who have started careers in the electrical trade. Some of these young adults are working towards earning their associate degree with Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC).

As an award-winning electrical design-build contractor with over 1,400 skilled employees, Gaylor Electric has become a nationally recognized company with 11 offices in six states across the United States. With a commitment to safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction, Gaylor Electric has been named one of CIO Bulletin’s “Top 30 Greatest Places to Work.”
